66. James CLEMENS Jr. was born on 29 Oct 1791. James Jr. moved to Missouri in1816. He died on 12 Jan 1878 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co, MO. Engaged in mercantile business with his uncle, James "Sr." in Huntsville, AL. Successful storekeeper, active in banking, did much to help the family of Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain).
